Experience life as it was for the Flynn family over 100 years ago as you wander the museum and enjoy the 19thcentury atmosphere.  Roto House, built in 1890, is a beautiful example of Victorian architecture and craftsmanship. Guided tours of the museum are conducted by our enthusiastic volunteers or wander through our lovely house at your leisure.

The tranquil natural setting of Roto House Historic Site and Macquarie Nature Reserve is great for picnics and koala spotting.

The internationally known Port Macquarie Koala Hospital is also located on the reserve, where it has carried out the valuable work of the Koala Preservation Society since 1973.

Roto House Historic Site is wheelchair friendly.

Car and bus parking are available on site.  It is just a short stroll from the car park along wheelchair friendly concrete pathways to Roto House and the Koala Hospital.

Roto House is open daily from 10am to 4:30pm.  This can be subject to the availabiltiy of Volunteers. Roto House is closed Christmas Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day morning.
