Experience authentic local Aboriginal culture with Sea Acres Rainforest Centre's Yun Yi Barragay (Gathang language for Waljk With Me) Aboriginal Tour Guiding program. 
BUSH TUCKER TOURS..WALK, TALK, TASTE
3rd Saturday of every month (check the Rainforest Centre for summer holiday program).Join local Aboriginal guides for a fascinating Bush Tucker tour of rare subtropical rainforest along the 1.3km elevatedSea Acres rainforest boardwalk. Discover how local Aboriginal people used rainforest plants for food and gain insights into Birpai culture and history. All tours conclude with a sampling of bush tucker foods.  
Cost: $15 adults, $5 children, $30 family (2 adults and 2 children)Bookings Essential - 6582 3355. Limit of 20 per groupGroup tours can be organised by arrangement.
 
SUMMER HOLIDAY BUSH TUCKER AND DREAMTIME TALES
 
A bush tucker walk and an Aboriginal storytelling session in the rainforest walkway’s new sculptural classroom will also be offered on Friday 21st January from 2-4pm.

 NEW COASTAL WALK - JANUARY 2011
The Yun Yi Barragay walk traverses a section of dramatic and beautiful coastline including subtropical and littoral rainforest, headlands, and the secluded coves of the Port Macquarie coastal walk. The fascinating new 1.5 hour guided coastal walk, takes a leisurely journey from the rainforest to the sea, passing through stunning coastal environments and offering some surprising glimpses of what the everyday life of Aboriginal people might have been like before European colonisation and also offering an insight into contemporary culture. A unique opportunity to experience Aboriginal culture with experienced guides through story, music and dance and to discover how Aboriginal people used rainforest plants and the coastal environment.
 The walk is suitable for adults and children over 12 years. A moderate level of fitness for walking is required. 
Wednesday 19th January; Wednesday 2nd February from 10:30 to 12:30
